6 Months!!

Taking Dylan's picture with his bear was a bit of a chore this month. He has become very active. He is so much fun now. He is:

• wearing 3-6 month clothes


• wearing size 2 diapers


• eating about 2 TBsp of cereal and 1/2 jar of fruit for breakfast, 2 TBsp of cereal and 1/2 -1 jar of vegetable for supper, and five 6 ounce bottles a day.


• He can roll over from his tummy to his back and from his back to his tummy


• When laying on his tummy he can turn in circles to reach things within his arm's reach. He can scoot just a little


• He can sit unassisted for about 20 seconds, sometimes longer if he is focused on something


• He went to church for the first time and loved the nursery


• It appears he will have a tooth soon. He has a little white in his gums (thanks to Robyn for pointing that out)


• He reaches for the spoon when eating and tries to help "feed" himself


• He loves his exersaucer and loves laying on the floor playing with toys


• He takes a morning nap around 9 and an afternoon nap around 12:30 or 1. This nap usually last for 2 hours. He then takes a 30- minute powernap sometime in the late afternoon.


• He has started "talking" a lot. He says "guuu" and "maaaaa" (which I think sounds like Mom)!!


• A week ago he weighed 15.2 ounces and was 26 in long. He actually goes for his 6 month appointment on Monday.
