Hump Day

It's WEDNESDAY and all day I have been thinking it was THURSDAY.... that's tomorrow (which is also my bday).
Anyway, so tonight Julie and Trent asked us to go out to eat with them. We decided to go to Downtown Cafe and Nick and Robyn were there!!!! So we all enjoyed dinner together. Robyn got to see Baby Cooper for the first time... she agreed.. he looks like Julie.
Now I am home and waiting on American Idol to see who will get booted off tonight. I was surfing through different blogs and came across www.plumparty.com
This website has some really cute stuff and it's cheap, or at least some of it is cheap.
Check out these cute napkin holders.... I'm going to try to make something similar!!! Maybe.

Hope you all have a great finish to the week.
P.S. Robyn, I'm praying for you girl!!!

Weekend Update

Well let's see.....
Friday night we enjoyed LaCabana like usual. After we ate everyone came back to our house to hang out. I had such a great time playing cards with everyone, I did not even realize it was almost two in the morning when everyone went home.
Saturday, Michael and I slept in then Michael and my dad went out campaigning. My mom and I went and did a few errands. Around 6, my parents came to pick Michael and I up, we went to eat. Then it gets worse, on our way home we had a wreck. We won't go into any details since most of you already know them. Needless to say, we are just happy to we are all ok. My mom did find out today that her car is totaled.
Sunday, Michael and I along with Nick and Robyn joined First Methodist. We have been going for several months and decided we were ready to become part of the "family." Dr. Stewart came out to our house last week and we really had a great visit with him. He is so nice. I'm so excited about this new adventure in our lives.

Michael and I had to return to work today. Our vacation was nothing special, but being away from work for a week was wonderful.
Monday night we went to Chattanooga, Spent all day Tuesday, Wednesday I did some organizing and Michael did some campaigning, Thursday I went shopping with Julie while Michael campaigned, Thursday evening I went with Michael to campaign, and Friday we knocked on doors as well.
And back to work today!!!!

GRADES

Michael checked the mail today as he does everyday. He always separates my mail from his and lays it on the kitchen table... and today he did as usual. I was sitting at the table, he did not mention anything about a particular piece of mail, he just layed it on the table. About an hour later I decided to look through my stack of mail, which contained two items. One was from Piedmont college. I knew it had to be my grades. First I asked Michael why he didn't tell me it was there, he said he figured it was a bill, Second I opened it....4.0!!!! That means I have a cummalitive GPA of 4.o!!!

Excited, Overwhelmed, Nervous, Happy, Stressed.....

How many emotions can one girl handle?
I'm excited about this campaign, Overwhelmed because there are a ton of doors to knock on and a ton of signs to get out, Nervous because we are meeting so many people, Happy because most everyone cares or acts like they do, and Stressed because I'm about to start classes three nights a week, try to find a teaching job, and campaign for my husband, along with the wife duties that come with home ownership.

So, How can you help?
Tell everyone you know to VOTE ADAMS!!! Put a sign in your yard. Most importantly, on July 15th GO VOTE!!!!!!!(But VOTE ADAMS)!!!, Pray we will make it through this!

Vacation

Michael and I started our vacation on Friday, which is much needed!!!!
Saturday mom and I went to a few local yard sales, I got about 150 children's books for only $2!! What a buy! Saturday afternoon we celebrated my cousin Gracie's 4th birthday at the Anderson Playground, which by the way is the coolest place in the world!! Saturday night Michael and I along with our "bestest friends" celebrated Cinco de Mayo. It was fun, we enjoyed some great Mexican food.
Sunday Michael and I went to church, the Skelton family reunion, and then I came home and crashed. Michael went to do some campaigning. Later that evening we went to enjoy dinner with my parents, which was fabulous. My mother makes the best Meatloaf ever.
So... this morning both Michael and I woke up a little before 8 with terrible headaches. We decided to stay in bed for a while. At almost 10 we got up and had cinnamon rolls. Michael got ready and went to campaign while I stayed home and cleaned our house from top to bottom. Now if I could just get the laundry caught up... I think I have about 3 more loads left...
but it will have to wait because Michael stopped in for lunch about an hour ago and told me he was going to go a few more places for me to pack our stuff and get ready.
We are leaving today just for an overnight trip.
Stay tune for pictures.
