Sweet Summer Memories

I have really enjoyed having the summer off and spending time with my sweet Dylan.  Some days we have laid around in our pajamas all day, others have been spent splashing in the pool, and many others were just packed full of love. 
I’m going to have a very hard time going back to work.  I think it may be even harder than when I went back from maternity leave.  Then it was hard because I was leaving Dylan in someone else’s care.  Now, it’s hard because of the many milestones I could be missing. 
This summer I have enjoyed watching Dylan go from barely able to crawl to almost standing on his own.  He is all over the place all the time and into everything, but I love it.  I love teaching him that some things are dangerous, many are off limits, and others are all his.  I love watching him look at me for approval before he pulls up on a chair, plays in the water bowl, or takes off down the hallway. 
So..what exactly have we been doing???
Watching Sesame Street,

Hanging out with Grammy,

Cuddling with Daddy,

Playing with unopened bottles of Mountain Dew,

Getting kisses from Mommy,

Learning to pull up and stand,

Laughing while trying new foods,

Splashing in the swimming pool,

Standing up in the pack and play (mommy has to make sure she moves me away from the window and radio now),

trying to figure out a sippy cup,

wearing new shoes,

climbing the gate,

and finding new toys on the book shelf.




Wow!!  we have had soooo much fun!!
