At 8 months Dylan is:
- wearing size 3 diapers
- wearing 6-9 months clothes
- weighing about 17 lbs (just a guess)
- eating 3 meals a day
- Breakfast: 5 ounce bottle followed by cereal and about a TBsp of a fruit (still doesn’t love fruit)
- Mid-morning: 6-7 ounces of formula
- Lunch: 1 jar of veggie and water from a sippy cup (we are trying hard)
- Mid-Afternoon: 6-7 ounce bottle
- Supper: Cereal and 1/2-1 jar of veggie followed by 4-5 ounces of formula (usually about 30 minutes after eating)
- Night: 7 ounces of formula
- sleeping from 8 p.m until around 7:30 a.m
- Naps: 9 am, 12:30, and 4----these naps usually last about 1 1/2 hours, sometimes 2!
- ACTIVE, ACTIVE, ACTIVE!! Dylan is everywhere. He is crawling and pulling up. He loves to stand-up. He sits unassisted and plays with his toys until he moves on to something else.
- Talking: He says, “Hey” and “Mama” (this happened today!! I am so excited). He also says “abah,” which I think means “bottle.”
- He loves taking a bath and has recently started taking a bath in the big tub.
- He has his 2 bottom teeth!
- We have enjoyed our time together this summer he has:
- experienced a swimming pool
- played in his own kiddie pool
- visited with family
- went to lunch with friends
- had a shopping trip to Commerce
- had his picture drawn at the pre-fourth
- at refried beans at LaCabana
- Had Cheetos (his favorite)
- tasted banana pudding (his Grammy spoils him)
- celebrated Father’s Day
- and played, played, played

He is growing so much!! I bet you are so happy he is saying mama!
I cannot believe how much he has grown! He is changing so fast! It is neat that he is already saying small words.
