Weeks 17-21

WEEK 17
WEEK 18

WEEK 19

WEEK 20

WEEK 21

Wow!!! It's been a long time since I updated. I have been feeling great and had a lot more energy. My appetite is better, but it is so hard for me to decide what to eat. Sometimes I think I want something and then I start eating it and it tastes terrible. For example, today I thought I would fix myself a huge salad with all the works. It was awful!! It tasted very salty. Guess it was the dressing. So I threw it away and had chocolate eclair. I've been craving anything sweet. Icecream and cookies are my favorite right now.
I'm feeling the baby move a lot. I can even look at my belly and see kicking!! It is the coolest thing. Movement becomes more frequent after meals and when I lay down at night. This baby must love to eat!!!
We found out about two weeks ago that, IT'S A BOY!!! Michael is on cloud nine. He was expecting a girl and was completely shocked when I pointed and said, "I think it's a boy." I had a feeling the entire time it was a boy. Everyone kept saying it was a girl, so of course, I listened and started picking out girl themed nursery items and names. When we found out it was a boy I had and still have work to do. We had already decided on a theme for a boy's nursery but not necessarly a color scheme. I'm still working on the bedding. We have not decided on a name yet but will before October!!!
I'm excited that we finally get to start working on his room and buying things for him.
I've gained a total of 9 pounds thus far. My doctor said I was doing great. I gained almost half of that in the last month, so it's time for me to get up off my butt and do something. This summer break thing is new to me and it is so hard for me to stay motivated to do something. I'm used to having a little time off and using it to relax.
