Life has been very busy lately and I have neglected my blog. So this may be a long post!!
Week 15
I'm beginning to get a lot of energy back. Had a few episodes of morning sickness but once I got something to eat I was good to go. I'm still wearing clothes that are one size bigger. I have worn a few maternity tops (that are smaller than most) and maternity shorts. They are still big but very comfortable. I felt a the baby move this week. I was laying in the bed saying my prayers and felt the flutter!! It was the most awesome feeling in the world.
Craving: Icecream
Dislikes: Pizza, peanut butter and jelly, pecans
Excited about: feeling the baby
Looking forward to: finding out the sex
Searching: baby bedding and cribs, just getting a few ideas
Weird thing: Having CRAZY dreams
Week 16
Just realized Freckles is staring up at me!!
Sunday was Mother's Day. I didn't expect anything from anyone. I just wanted to enjoy the day with my mom. But, my phone was blowing up with text messages Sunday morning. It was the sweetest thing. Of course, Michael felt terrible because he didn't do anything. He tried to buy me some tennis shoes that I wanted but I didn't want him to spend the money. My dad brought me a dozen yellow roses!! It really meant a lot to me. My mom gave me the baby carriage for my pandora bracelet. I got a few cards in the mail as well.
This week has been a great week. I feeling awesome. I still get really tired but usually not until around 8:30 and then I crash. School is almost out and I can't wait!! I love my precious students but will be so thankful to have some time to get some things done. I have felt the baby a few more times this week. One afternoon I was sitting at my desk at work getting ready for the next day. I was very relaxed and searching for a fun activity for students and I felt a HUGE flutter. I continued for about a minute. I sent Michael a text; I was so excited!!
Cravings: Icecream
Dislikes: Pizza, greasy food (french fries)
Looking forward to: My doctor's appointment on Monday. I am having some blood work done to check for downs syndrome and any chromosome disorders. I will also make my appointment for the "BIG ULTRA SOUND." In just a few short weeks we will know the sex of the baby and be able to shop, decorate, and name!
Weird things: Still having crazy dreams
