Yummy!!!

I decided I wanted to cook Michael and I something really good for supper tonight. I don't get to cook everynight because of class; so I take advantage of the nights I am able to cook. Cooking is also one of my passions. I love to experiment with new recipes and see Michael's reaction. Although, I did not take a picture of the meal... We had parmesan crusted chicken with sweet and hot mustard dip, baked potatoes, and a wonderful side salad. It is one of Robin Miller's Quick Meals. So good. By the way the chicken is BAKED!!!!

My passion

I love photography. It gives me a sense of relaxation. I took these pictures of my best friend, Julie and her husband Trent just days before she had baby Cooper. I love the one with Trent's hands on her belly. I will post more pictures as I take them. Most of the time I take pictures of scenery as most of you that have been to my house have seen.

Weekend

This weekend was very relaxing. Michael and I hung out at home Friday night and watched Reign over me and Wedding Daze. They were ok. We weren't feeling well and just wanted to stay in. Saturday I cleaned our house from top to bottom while Michael was at work. I then finished a project for school.

We went to Sullivans for dinner for Jason's birthday. It was really good. I love it there, it has such a nice atmosphere.

Today, we went to a new church. I really enjoyed it. The sermon was interesting and I felt like I learned something. I hope Michael and I can continue to grow spiritually and make this church our home away from home.

I have felt bad all day so I just layed around. Michael went to his uncle's house to ask him about my brakes.... they are new and sound terrible. Michael cooked supper for us and soon we will have strawberry shortcake for dessert!! Yummy. Hope you all have a great week.

oh and today i got the cutest pictures for the bathroom!!!!

This weekend went by fast. Friday I enjoyed dinner with my BFF's. Saturday Michael and I helped my parents paint inside their house, then they took us out for supper. We went to Longhorn...It was soooo good. Today Michael and I went to Anderson and shopped. We bought 7 shirts and a tie at Belk for $35. We did awesome!!! We came home and I cooked supper and Michael did laundry. It's now time to relax and enjoy what's left of the night.

GACE 2

On Jan. 12 I took the second part of the GACE test for early childhood education. I was so nervous about it and knew my mind was not really on the test. My grandmother passed away two weeks before that and my nephew was admitted to the hospital the day before. When I left the test I called Michael and told him that I had just wasted $150 because it was so hard.
Well I got my test results Monday.... I PASSED!!!! I was soooo excited. All I keep thinking about is getting out of the nursing home.
Right before I opened the test to begin, I asked Nana to help me through it. I know she was there with me that day. Thank you NANA!!!!!

Life

Well it's been a long time since I posted. After thanksgiving my life was a whirlwind. I finished up the semester and my grandmother got really sick. She was sick for most of December and passed away 3 days after Christmas. On Jan. 11, my nephew Colin was put in the hospital with pnemonia. He spent a week in ICU and a total of 16 days at Scottish Rite. I have been a bundle of nerves for 2 solid months.
I miss my grandmother soooooo much but know that she is better off. A few hours before she passed away I said my goodbyes to her and asked her to watch over me from heaven. Little things happen everyday that remind me of her and just make me smile.
Someone told me to put a penny in her casket and I would be suprised where I would find pennies. I did not put the penny in her casket but everytime I see a penny I think of my grandmother. The week after she passed away I found 8 pennies in parking lots, store floors, and random places.
I've been busy this past week, my best friend julie had her baby, He is precious!!!! She named him Cooper Douglas. He looks just like her.
Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this now or at least post more often.
